Dance

Youth Dancing in Haverhill
Cheer squads will focus on one choreographed dance ranging from three to four minutes long. Throughout the season, squads will master 8-counts of choreography designed to showcase their energy and coordination. These routines will be the centerpiece of their performances at numerous Haverhill Boys & Girls Club events all year, giving members consistent opportunities to build confidence and show off their hard work to the community.

Instructional Basketball
  • 11 games- includes playoff games and one championship game. This offering is open to grades 6th - 9th. Games will be played on Thursday nights from 6:00pm - 9:00pm. 
  • Evaluations are on January 8th, 2026
  • First game will be on January 15th, 2026
  • 11 games, includes playoff games and one championship game. This offering is open to 4th - 6th graders. Games are played on Saturday mornings from 10:00am - 1:00pm 
  • Evaluations are on January 10th, 2026
  • First game is on January 17th, 2026
  • Includes 10 weeks of Skills n Drills, & scrimmages. This offering is open to 1st - 3rd graders. Instructional Basketball will be held on Saturdays from 2:00pm to 3:30pm beginning January 17th, 2026

Fee is $100 for nonmembers and free for anyone currently registered for afterschool.

Cheerleading

Youth Cheerleading in Haverhill
The Haverhill Boys & Girls Club cheer program is dedicated to teaching foundational cheer skills, fostering strength, teamwork, and discipline in a structured environment. 

Practices run twice weekly: Mondays and Wednesdays, with the Junior Varsity team meeting from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM, followed by the Varsity team from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. 
Beyond learning a routine and sideline cheer, our focus is on preparing participants with essential real-world skills such as highschool or college cheerleading, such as dedication, collaboration, and following a structured schedule.
 
​First Practice: Monday, January 5th, 2026, from 5:00pm - 7:00pm 
First Performance: Saturday, January 24th, 2026

Youth Hockey in Haverhill

Major League Hockey

  •  Includes 10 games. This league offering is available to 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. Games are played on Wednesdays from 6:00pm - 8:00pm 
  • Evaluations are on January 7th, 2026.
  • First game is on January 14th, 2026.
