Camp Tasker COVID-19 Updates
The novel coronavirus, COVID-19, has been declared a worldwide pandemic by the World Health Organization. COVID-19 is extremely contagious and has significant person-to-person spread. As a result, federal, state, and local governments and federal and state health agencies have recommended social distancing measures and have, in many locations, required ongoing prohibitions on the congregation of groups of people of various sizes.
The Boys & Girls Club of Greater Haverhill has put in place preventative measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19. These include, but are not limited to, social distancing, wellness monitoring, increased sterilization, required hand-washing, required masks, and required temperature checks. However, the Club cannot guarantee that you or your child(ren) will not become infected with COVID-19. Further, attending the Club could increase your risk and your child(ren)’s risk of contracting COVID-19. If/ when you decide to register your child(ren) for Camp Tasker Summer Camp, you will be required to sign a COVID-19 waiver that will indicate The Boys & Girls Club of Greater Haverhill is not responsible if your child contracts COVID-19.

Camp Tasker | Kid’s Summer Camp in Newton, NH
Camp Tasker, located in Newton, N.H., has been in operation since 1919 and thousands of boys experienced the joy of a summer camp. In June of 2009, hundreds of girls shared the same experience. It is that time of year again, for boys and girls to participate in fun and activities including swimming in Country Pond or our new huge pool, boating, fishing, soccer, baseball/softball, arts-n-crafts, basketball or tennis in our newly paved court and much more. our goal to provide each camper with memories, learning, and building friendships that are taken place under the supervision of our positive staff members. The girls and boys will respectively have a camp director, recreation hall, and cabins. We have many part-time staff members to keep the campers busy and well supervised at all times. Last year, our camp was given the highest safety rating by the State of New Hampshire. Our purpose is to have fun and provide a safe program for developing self-esteem, sportsmanship, leadership, and personal accomplishments.
